Products that stabilized rice bran is used in include dietary/health supplements, medical foods, animal foods and treats, and a wide array of some of the best known food products for consumer purchase. Nutracea's customers include, but are not limited to, consumer nutrition/healthcare companies, domestic and international food companies, and animal feed manufacturers.
Nutracea uses its highly nutritious product to aid in the fight against world hunger - especially in young children and women. The World Bank states that the most critical stages in brain development occur between pre-conception and 2 years of age. It is estimated that 1 out of 4 preschool children suffers from under-nutrition. Since the company's philanthropic inception, one of the biggest applications of its product is to supply non-profit organizations and governments with the economically sound products they need to help malnourished people all over the world.
